A Taste of the Sahara

Sahara Photo Diary

Hi Everyone!

We have returned safe and sound from a life-changing adventure to the Sahara desert. I know there are going to be many questions, and I have many answers – but not today. My entire being is exhausted (in a good way), and I’ll need a day or two of recovery. But I promise the wait will be worth it, and in the mean time, here’s a small taste of what we experienced…

Along the way there was lots to see…
Atlas Mountain Range Morocco
From water to snow and sand, the Atlas mountains change everything.

Thanks for your patience while I regroup – there are many photos and stories to share, truly an experience of a lifetime. Keep following along for more Moroccan awesomeness!

The colour of the photo of you in the blue dress, with the ORANGE dunes, is exceptional. Is Erg Chigaga a “region” of Morocco? Guess I’ll be Googling that up?!?
Were there other adventurers with you… due to the # of beds…?

Thank you! “Erg Chigaga” in Arabic is indeed the name of the dune / region. We had our own tent, private bed, breakfast, etc…. it was AMAZING.
